Silentwind 400 PRO Wind Generator

Silentwind 400 PRO Wind Generator

Silentwind 400 PRO Wind Generator

The ultralight and aerodynamic Silentwind wind generator is designed to charge batteries by converting wind energy into electricity. Developed and produced for use in the marine environment, it can be used in various wind conditions from low to high. Silentwind is lightweight (only 6.8kg), constructed of marine grade aluminium alloy, corrosion protected and features a stainless-steel shaft and waterproof sealed bearings. The hand-laminated, carbon fibre blades, are designed to offer greater wind resistance whilst producing minimum noise emissions. The unit starts charging with only 4kn wind, generating 50W at 14kn and 100W at 19kn. At maximum it generates 420W at 29kn. The included hybrid charge controller is external, and can accept input from both the Silentwind and solar panels. It has a multifunction display and integrated stop switch (electronic / manual). Another advantage of the SILENTWIND is that it does not have any inbuilt electronics which means that there is hardly any maintenance work on the mounted wind generator. The electric power is led down to the charge controller by 3 cables.
